| April is a beautiful example of the breed but she is, unfortunately, painted with a unpopular brush! April is a Sable Merle. Sable Merle is not a faulted color nor is it a color that is linked to any health defects. However it is nearly impossible to finish a sable merle in the USA regardless of how nice the dog is.
