When I met Stormy's sire Am CH Lacycreek On The Wild Side at a show many years ago I decided I wanted to show a blue merle. He had a great personality didn't know a stranger and wasn't flighty like so many show Shelties were that I had met at that time. I was interested in doing both conformation and perfomance so a good temperment was a MUST. After being on the puppy waiting list for a while we purchased Stormy as a show prospect as a young pup. Stormy turned out to be 13.78 inches at the shoulder which is a little small and he is doesn't have enough bone to be competitive in conformation. However, he has that same great personality that his sire has and he has been a lot of fun in performance. Unfortunately I had to take some time off from performance but we are back at it and hope to have his open agility titles this year and we may start working towards a CD also. Stormy has also worked as a therapy dog and is well liked by children especially children he has encountered while working as therapy dog. Stormy has sired one litter of fantastic puppies to date.
