| Blanca is a Color Headed White Sheltie who happens to also be a merle and has blue eyes. Color Headed Whites are the result of breeding to white factored Shelties. Color Headed Whites have pigment around their eyes and ears. They should not be confused with double merles or double dilutes. These dogs are lacking in pigment around the eyes and ears and can be blind, deaf or both. Double Merles are the result of breeding two merles together. Blanca has normal sight and hearing. |
